DESCRIPTION

  • The Original Thiamax supplement: Harnessing the power of thiamine (B1) derivative TTFD, complexed with magnesium in our innovative formula, with ZERO fillers or additives, and extra small capsules.
  • Thiamax has high intestinal absorption, unlike conventional thiamine supplements. This means the thiamine gets absorbed almost completely, requiring a much lower dose.
  • Thiamax supports and enriches the most vital organ of your body - the brain! By elevating the thiamine levels in your central nervous system, Thiamax nurtures your cognitive clarity and harmonizes your autonomic nervous system.
  • Thiamax enables thiamine to freely transport across membranes, allowing it to enter cells much more effectively.
  • Made in the USA. Gluten-free and non-GMO ingredients ensure purity and peace of mind.

Before you start taking Thiamax

In some individuals, thiamine supplements like Thiamax can induce a temporary worsening of certain symptoms such as fatigue, brain-fog, and digestive bloating or gas. These side effects usually last for around one week, and are referred to as the “paradoxical reaction”.

View full details

Thiamax contains a highly-bioavailable derivative of thiamine (vitamin B1) called TTFD - thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide. This form has been widely researched in Japan for its therapeutic potential in addressing thiamine insufficiency.

Unlike other forms of thiamine supplementation, TTFD’s molecular structure allows it to pass through intestinal and cellular membranes without the requirement for a transport system. Once inside the cell, it can be activated and used as a cofactor in important biochemical processes

TTFD also has a demonstrated capacity to penetrate the blood brain barrier and increase thiamine levels in the brain and central nervous system, where it may be used to support optimal cognition and maintain autonomic nervous system function.

Due to its superior bioavailability, TTFD can be taken in much lower doses than what is considered the “therapeutic dose” of other forms such as thiamine salts.

Thiamax also contains a small amount of magnesium (as magnesium taurate), which is a mineral that is important for supporting how cells can utilize thiamine.

How to use

  • Take one capsule per day with or without food.
  • Avoid coffee/tea consumption either one hour before or two hours after taking thiamax.
  • Avoid taking this product in the afternoon/evening, as it may interfere with sleep.
  • Should be taken alongside 200-400mg of magnesium & a high quality B-complex

For first time users who consider themselves sensitive to supplements:

  • Start with half or quarter of a capsule per day by emptying half of the capsule contents into a small glass of water.
  • Increase the dose every three or four days until you reach one full capsule.

Important information:

  • In some individuals, supplementation with Thiamax can induce a temporary worsening of certain symptoms such as fatigue, brain-fog, and digestive bloating or gas. This usually lasts for around one week, and is referred to as the “paradoxical reaction”.

Thiamax contains thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide, a derivative of thiamine (vitamin B1) with high bioavailability. This form has been shown to cross the blood-brain-barrier and can bypass normal routes of thiamine absorption, with a higher rate of uptake both in the gut and at the cellular level. Thiamax also includes a small amount of magnesium (as magnesium taurate), which plays an important role in supporting how cells can use thiamine.

Benefits

intestinal bioavailability

cell membrane transport

brain thiamine

High Intestinal Absorption*

TTFD produces high levels of thiamine in the cell to be utilized for biochemical reactions, and the intestinal bioavailability is much greater than thiamine salts

Free transport across cell membranes*

TTFD’s molecular structure allows it to pass through intestinal and cellular membranes without the requirement for a transport system. Once inside the cell, it can be activated and used as a cofactor in important biochemical processes.

Shown to increase brain thiamine content*

TTFD also has a demonstrated capacity to penetrate the blood brain barrier and increase thiamine levels in the brain and central nervous system, where it may be used to support optimal cognition and maintain autonomic nervous system function.

Very powerful

I have read extensively about Thiamine and TTFD over the last six months. Even after using standard thiamine at 100 mg daily for about four months, I could feel a new level of clarity with Thiamax TTFD within 20 minutes. I use it with 200mg of magnesium glycinate. I find it effective for recovery after exercise.

Why in veggie caps?

After reading Dr. Dennis’s article “Veggie Cap Crap” I, too, have been eliminating veggie caps from my supplements, which has helped. So yes, I remove them from the veggie cap and mix with other supplements. Putting the powder in gelatin caps helps but it’s a difficult process. The taste is horrible. At low doses almond milk helps the taste dissipate quickly. Not so much with higher doses. (I have titrated up to 5 caps but will begin to reduce. I believe 4 or 3 will be sufficient for me.) I will keep taking them because I feel like it is working to help with the muscle pain and weakness I have developed.

Quality Product

No fillers and from a source I trust. Excellent for those needing high dose thiamine in TTFD form.
