    The active ingredient in Azulenal is guaiazulene. It is extracted from the eucalyptus tree, Similar to chamazulene found in chamomile oil, guaiazulene protects the skin and keeps it supple.

    The ointment is very well tolerated by skin since it contains no preservatives, colorants, perfume, sodium laureth sulphate (SLES), aluminium, silicones, parabens, or other additives.

    Directions

     

    1-3cm of the ointment can be applied directly to the affected area 2 to 4 times daily. If you are suffering from mastitis (inflammation of the nipples or mammary glands): apply generously to the inflamed area and nipples several times a day. You can continue to breastfeed after allowing the ointment to take effect. For babies, the ointment can be applied generously to affected areas while changing nappies.
